Snap Lock is a professional product whose production covers all aspects of maintaining a level surface. Combined with a properly prepared substructure, the panel reveals the image of a truly flat, undulating roof.

Reversible start
Each board has a seamless, double-sided start of 30 mm. Depending on how the panel is laid, one of the sheet's protrusions is wrapped for the F21 overhead attachment.
Rounded corners
A safe product is the basis for pleasant work on the roof and during further handling. All the corners of the sheet are beveled at an arc, reducing the risk of injury or scratching other sheet metal on the roof.
Thickness of the sheet 0.6 mm
The product is also available in 0.6 mm thickness, in both SSAB and VOESTALPINE versions. These sheets are extremely rigid both during handling and use.
Aesthetics above all else
The panels have a factory-integrated Bratex Seam-Lock cap on each side, which is used to close the gap opening once the panel is snapped into place. The tools used to properly close the blanking plug are supplied with each package of sheets without any complications.
Extremely high groove
The effective groove height is up to 32 mm, calculated only from the base of the groove. The product presents an excellent roof shape, significantly different from products with a lower profile height
Length compensation
The concealed mounting rail is designed to take into account the thermal expansion of aluminum sheets up to 12 m in length.
Optional product design
We offer optional flat surface finishes to improve acoustics, product durability, and give the panels a customized style.
Every effort has been made to ensure that the Bratex Snap Lock groove is not accompanied by a ripple effect on the surface, although the specifics of local installation and material characteristics, i.e., sheet batch and paint gloss level, may have a slight effect on installed sheets. When choosing this type of roofing, care should be taken to properly prepare the substructure (full tongue-and-groove boarding is recommended) to achieve excellent aesthetic results. It is permissible to use patches with a maximum slope of 11 cm.
Consideration should be given to selecting 0.6 mm thick sheet metal in the SSAB GreenCoat variant with 350 g/m 2 zinc protection with satin paint effect, or in the VOESTALPINE variant with zinc-magnesium protection with very low light reflection through the paint surface. The choice of 0.6 mm thick sheet ensures the highest product durability, excellent end result and satisfaction with the choice of the decade.

SOUNDCONTROL or DRIPSTOP
The sheets can be optionally equipped with SOUNDCONTROL roof film on the underside, which reduces the sound of rain falling on the sheet by 6 dB. Also available is DRIPSTOP anti-condensation film, which traps moisture from settling water vapor - for use on uninsulated buildings. Detailed information can be found in the product documentation.
The film is applied automatically during the manufacturing process. It is glued to the underside of the board between the side joints - innovatively at a distance of 15 cm from the edge of the production fold and on all types of surface finishes.
Natural materials
SSAB GreenCoat sheet using biotechnology (BT) replaces most of the petroleum compounds in the final painted layer with Swedish rapeseed oil. This means less burden on the environment by eliminating the release of harmful substances into the air.

The color coating is made from Swedish rapeseed oil.
Most steel products with GreenCoat® color coating offer a sustainable finish not typically seen in the construction industry. The patented biodegradable BT (Bio-based Technology) coating, launched in 2012, uses a significant portion of Swedish rapeseed oil instead of fossil oil, making it the only building coating on the market made from natural ingredients for outdoor use (roofs and facades). This significantly reduces the building's environmental footprint.
The coating is also chromate-free in accordance with the REACH regulation, is safe to handle, does not release harmful emissions and offers a proven long life on buildings for many decades.
