Lightweight roof structure
The sheet is up to 20 times lighter than other solutions and does not require special structural reinforcements, full boarding and stronger walls with foundations. The weight of a 200 m² steel roofing sheet is only 1,000 kg, and that of an aluminum one is only 400 kg.
Security
A well-fitted sheet metal roof provides excellent protection against tearing during a windstorm. Invisible joints between sheets protect against tearing of individual components.

Modular concept
We have developed a product concept with special technical, aesthetic and functional properties that make it a true modular roofing sheet. The sheets are combined in a specific way to guarantee the effect of a true modular roof.
Scandinavia, Savanna and Aurora present the classics of metal roofing in the format of a system product, manufactured using modular technology.
One sheet - a whole range of advantages
The recessed mounting points are actually a clearly visible indication of exactly where the plumber should use the screws, a unique feature that avoids the risk of scratching the surface of the sheet with a drill or screw. The recessed mounting points are not pre-drilled holes, so they do not pose a risk of water ingress if the wrong screw is used and/or if they are not used.
The method of butt jointing the boards allows the screws to be hidden, so the roof line is straight and not distracting. Butt jointing is also made possible by using recessed mounting points at specially designated mounting points where there is no gutter to drain water. This eliminates the risk of poor sealing.
The boards are manufactured with an innovative end or front protruding edge, which provides the necessary space for modular products: this is the ventilation space at the joints, rainwater is not retained here and can safely drain away. The front edge of the board is designed to be 2 mm shorter than the others, slightly sloped and has a so-called capillary edge that effectively interrupts the flow of water.
The slope of the protruding edge by several degrees toward the slope ensures ventilation of the transverse joints and prevents the accumulation of water flowing during the continuous condensation process on the underside of the board. This provides optimal conditions for maintaining the condition of the sheet throughout its life.
Unique installation method
Bratex Scandinavia® modular roofing sheets are installed most efficiently in columns. It is important that the reverse side of one sheet always covers the surface of the next sheet. The order in which the sheets are laid may depend on the roofer's needs, for example, due to the shape of the roof, but it is crucial to ensure that the sheets are laid and interlocked correctly.
Particular attention should be paid to joining one board to another (vertically), so that they are joined in parallel - the top board must not be offset from the bottom board. When laying the next board, the force must not fully cover the compensation pocket of the previous board, as this may cause it to shift relative to the next board.
Two-segment compensation pocket
This solution is a special patented solution in that the sheet has a recess on the reverse wave that is offset from the others. This so-called compensating pocket has several functions: it covers the lower board, and thus has an aesthetic value because the joints are perfect, it keeps the boards parallel to the eaves along the entire length to each board higher in the row.

Natural materials
SSAB GreenCoat sheet using biotechnology (BT) replaces most petroleum compounds in the final coat painted with Swedish rapeseed oil. This means less burden on the environment by eliminating the release of harmful substances into the air.

The color coating is made from Swedish rapeseed oil.
Most steel products with GreenCoat® color coating offer a sustainable finish not typically seen in the construction industry. The patented biodegradable BT (Bio-based Technology) coating, launched in 2012, uses a significant portion of Swedish rapeseed oil instead of fossil oil, making it the only building coating on the market made from natural ingredients for outdoor use (roofs and facades). This significantly reduces the building's environmental footprint.
The coating is also chromate-free in accordance with the REACH regulation, is safe to handle, does not release harmful emissions and offers a proven long life on buildings for many decades.

Dripstop + Soundcontrol*
The sheets can be optionally equipped with SOUNDCONTROL underlay on the underside, which reduces the sound of rain falling on the sheet by 6 dB. DRIPSTOP anti-condensation film, which traps moisture from settling water vapor, is also available - for use on uninsulated buildings. The film is applied automatically during the manufacturing process.
