Bratex Standing Seam is a set of components for building roofs and facades. In methodology, a folding joint is also called a craft or professional joint. The roof or facade panel is manufactured from steel, aluminum or zinc sheet. It provides the highest possible tightness, durability and original character of the surface, incomparable to any other sheet metal covering
The covering is manufactured from specially selected metal alloys, using the right accessories, the necessary tools, machinery and professional technical support from Bratex.
The Standing Seam solution provides up to three types of material
The strongest and most inflexible steel, durable aluminum and convenient zinc sheet. The choice of the right type of sheet metal depends on the records of the project, the specifics of the building or the preferences of the investor. SSAB's GreenCoat steel sheet in bio-technology (BT) replaces high-fuel multi-component paints with Swedish rapeseed oil. This means less burden on the environment by eliminating harmful emissions into the atmosphere. GreenCoat sheet is the most environmentally friendly technical solution on the market for roofs, facades and gutter systems.
Material: STEEL
Steel sheet produced by SSAB Sweden is an extremely durable material that is resistant to exposure conditions, has low linear expansion, and is easy to work with and install in temperatures as low as -15°C. Available in a wide range of colors, it is metallurgically painted according to the patented GreenCoat Pro BT coating concept. Exceptional resistance to scratching, impact with a steel roofing hammer, bending and stretching at different angles without risk of cracking.
Material: ALUMINIUM
Aluminum sheet produced by Hydro Norway is a metal with very low weight and good machining properties. It is produced from 3000 series aluminum alloy and metallurgically painted in attractive colors.
Material: ZINEK
SHG zinc sheet of the highest purity with copper and titanium doping. It can be easily shaped and adjusted to shape. It is available in three variants - natural and chemically patinated in Patina Grey or Patina Carbon.
Standing seam elements
The basic product of the system are prefabricated panels for roof and facade applications. They are supplied directly by Bratex Dachy Mrzygłód as panels with locks on both sides for joining. In addition, the company supplies materials such as coil and flat sheets, professional installation clips, foils, small foils and roofing foils. For a nominal fee, you can also rent professional equipment (profiling machines, bending machines for bends, lock-fluting machines, seam finishing tools).
Freedom of shaping and design aesthetics
Sheet allows a variety of shaping - it is very malleable and machinable, can be used to make almost any detail and is not subject to cracking. Its peculiarity allows for all kinds of roof finishes and shapes, including those with decorative design, such as for religious buildings.

The color coating is made from Swedish rapeseed oil.
Most steel products with GreenCoat® color coating offer a sustainable finish not typically seen in the construction industry. The patented biodegradable BT (Bio-based Technology) coating, launched in 2012, uses a significant portion of Swedish rapeseed oil instead of fossil oil, making it the only building coating on the market made from natural ingredients for outdoor use (roofs and facades). This significantly reduces the building's environmental footprint.
The coating is also chromate-free in accordance with the REACH regulation, is safe to handle, does not release harmful emissions and offers a proven long life on buildings for many decades.
