The snow pipe bracket, known as the "universal bracket," is used to attach pipes to flat roofs, such as trapezoidal sheets, asphalt shingles and cardboard.

Holder for flat roofing - two-pipe
The system is made of steel and aluminum:

The snow pipe bracket, called "universal bracket", is used for fixing pipes on flat roofs such as trapezoidal sheet, asphalt shingles, cardboard. Mounting hole spacing: 16 cm. The product is available in two variants: a holder for one pipe or a holder for two pipes.

In recent years, snow pipes have become a very popular element of protection against snowdrifts. Their main task is to prevent sudden sliding of snow from the roof. Thanks to their aesthetic appearance, snow pipes meet the highest design requirements. We offer an ideal compromise between price and quality. All holders are made of steel sheet and aluminum tubes, which ensures lightness and resistance to weather conditions. We offer different types of anti-snow pipes, adapted to different types of roofing.

Installation on all types of roofing materials

Our snow pipes can be mounted on any type of roofing. Thanks to our wide range of products, there is a product in our assortment that can be installed on any type of roofing. Regardless of the material of the roof, we can provide the right solution for your needs. Snow tubes ensure safety and protect your roof from snow and ice damage. Zinc coating

All components are made of steel that has undergone a tin plating process. This is the most effective and durable way to protect steel from corrosion. During the tinning process, zinc atoms penetrate the outer layer of the steel, forming a surface alloy of iron and zinc, which forms a protective layer against corrosion. The durability of zinc coatings can reach up to 100 years, depending on conditions.

Powder coating

Powder coating is resistant to corrosion, chemicals, high temperatures and mechanical damage. Electrically charged powder paint particles are applied to the metal surface, which is then heated to 140-200°C, causing the powder to melt and polymerize. The advantages of powder coating include a smooth, crack- and stain-free surface, anti-corrosion properties, resistance to mechanical damage, thermal and chemical resistance, and environmental friendliness.

Snow pipes: and the number of mounts required

What does the number of fixings depend on?

  • the angle of the roof (the greater the angle of the roof, the greater the number of required fixings)
  • the length of the roof surface (rafters) - above 6 meters, an increase in the number of mounts is required, and even the installation of a second row of pipes is required
  • for standard rafter lengths, the number of fixings is used according to the table below

Note - exceptions!

  • When the roof pitch angle exceeds 55° - always add one bracket to the set.
  • When the length of the rafters is greater than 6 m, it is necessary to add 1 bracket for every 2 m of rafters over 7 m. Thus, from 6 m to 8 m - one additional bracket, from 8 m to 10 m - two additional brackets.
  • Above 10 m, it is necessary to use an additional row of pipes - about 4 m above the first row. In this case, the lower pipes are installed according to the above table, and the upper pipes according to point 2

Note: The above information is the result of collected information and our experience. The above information should not be considered as installation instructions. The use of roof communication should be in accordance with the technical design prepared for the building, taking into account the requirements of relevant standards and applicable technical and construction regulations. To add additional brackets to the kit, use the menu of individual components.

Roof pitch angle Pipe length Number of brackets per 1 pipe
Up to 20 degrees 1,50 m 2
2,00 m 3
20 - 40 degrees 1,50 m 3
2,00 m 4
Above 40 degrees 1,50 m 4

General assembly rules

Installation method:

Snow protection installation instructions:

  • Snow protection pipe brackets should be fixed to the wooden roof structure with wood screws in accordance with PN-EN 14592+A1:2012.
  • The distance between the pipe holders should be 40 cm - 60 cm
  • The recommended installation point of the first row of pipes is at the height of the purlins.
  • The edge brackets should be installed so that they are close to the edge.

Attention. The spacing of the brackets, the number of fixing screws and their dimensions should be determined in the technical design, depending on the slope of the roof and the snow load zone, taking into account the load capacity of the elements of about 2 kN.
Screws 6 mm x 60 mm for attaching fasteners to the roof surface can be found here: Screws for attachment of snow guard
