Lemování FAKRO EZV-P

The EZ_ sealing strip allows a tight connection between the window and profiled roofing materials such as tile, profiled sheet. It is a universal sealing flange, which can be used not only for profiled roofing, but also for all types of roofing with a profile height of up to 50 mm. As standard, it is adapted for the installation of a single window in the roof sheathing. It is also available in a modular version for joining windows into assemblies. The EZV-P flashing does not include the XDP mounting and insulation kit, which we recommend purchasing in addition or together with the flashing (see link below).

The flange is available in several versions that allow the window to be installed in the roof structure at three different depths: "N" (+3 cm), "V" (0 cm) and "J" (-3 cm). The standard version of the EZ_ flashing for the "V" mounting depth is the EZV-A version.



Installation range for pitched roofs:

15° to 90° for "N" and "V" depths,
20° to 90° for depth "J".

We recommend using the EZV-A XDP flashing, which consists of the standard EZV-A flashing (1) and the XDP insulation kit. The XDP kit includes a vapor-permeable collar (2) and thermal insulation material (3) made of natural, specially impregnated sheep's wool.

Construction of the hem

The hem consists of four basic elements (a bottom element, two side elements and a top element). The lower part of the flashing is finished with a 165 mm wide elastic cuff; it has a plastic material glued to the underside, which allows the flashing to be attached to the roofing, ensuring a tight connection. The flashing is factory-fitted with sealing gussets to provide protection against the accumulation of dust, leaves and snow. In addition, it is equipped with a drainage gutter for draining condensation from the film covering the entrance to the outside of the window.
