Roofing with the characteristics of flat longitudinal surfaces attracts the eye and emphasizes the lightness of a building's architecture. The origins of seam metal roofing date back decades, when short strips of sheet metal were used and joined by wrapping (tube) or bending (rim). Although this method is today considered craftsmanship and is still used in quite a number of public buildings using high-end materials, it is rare to see private houses covered with the rim method.

Available variants

Bratex Snap Lock seam is available in four product finishes - each of which will give a different, individual character to the building.

The types of surface finish we offer between the seams are:

  • classic flat,
  • pronounced micro-wave,
  • segmental with trapezoidal characteristics
  • and an unprecedented semi-wave with subtle waving.

The product sheets can be optionally retrofitted with SoundControl soundproofing fleece of 200 g/m², which reduces the sound of rain falling on the sheet by 6 dB.
